- CUAHSI Overview
- WaterOneFlow
- Observations
{ Peter commented that we should keep it simple, O&M is complex }
Jon Goodall and Tim Whitaker - Integration of openMI
- WaterOneFlow returning information as a time slice?
- use wateroneflow as a test of how data can be distrbuted to different machine
DM asks if would openmi like to try to work with wateroneflow and waterML
- Yes. Ilya will send OGC waterML document
- Peter will look into wateroneflow,
- OpenMI v2
DM water model transmission is better represented in openML.
Not have units string, but have a way that the computer knows what that mean
is there a set of open mi standard units? yes, plus euro
can we use open mi classes as the base conversion tool
Roger- Where do we want to be in two or three years
- CUAHSI would encourage large modelers to work with large parties to use OpenMI to try to like models on the US side.
- DM thought we need to know on how modflow uses data
- developement group,
- unesco wants to connect modflow with hecras
ESMF topic and relationship to openMI
- runs directly off the land surface representation, over 900m cell
- moves water over the landscape, using 30mDEM, to pour points, and accumulate into a geodatabase
- communicate both sides to couple models.
One directional coupling works as
so ingesting values of the whole time series does not always work, OpenMI can utilize a two way coupling,
Build a library of Hydrology functions, and make those work together
